HYDERABAD, February 6: A trainee aircraft experienced a mishap at Begumpet Airport on Thursday. While landing, the aircraft lost control and veered off the runway, causing the front wheel to bend and resulting in damage to the runway surface. The pilot emerged unscathed from the incident. Airport personnel promptly responded, initiating necessary measures and commencing repairs on the damaged runway. Consequently, flight operations at Begumpet Airport have encountered delays. Notably, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy was scheduled to depart for Delhi from this airport shortly after the incident, adding significance to the timing of the occurrence.
