Hyderabad: Traffic diversions will be in force on Friday (July 4) for the inauguration of a bronze statue of former Chief Minister Konijeti Roshaiah at Old PS Saifabad and a Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee meeting scheduled at LB Stadium. Police advised commuters to plan alternative routes to avoid disruption.
At Iqbal Minar, vehicles from the Secretariat will be barred from proceeding towards Old PS Saifabad and rerouted towards Ravindra Bharathi. Traffic from Ravindra Bharathi to Old PS Saifabad will be shifted towards Teluguthalli Junction.
Motorists from Nirankari Junction attempting to reach Ravindra Bharathi via HDFC will be turned back towards Iqbal Minar and Lakdikapul Old Bridge. Traffic congestion is likely around Old PS Saifabad, Iqbal Minar, VV Statue, Masabtank Junction, Ravindra Bharathi, and Teluguthalli Junction from 8 a.m. onwards.
For the TPCC meeting at LB Stadium between 1 p.m. and 8 p.m., traffic from AR Petrol Pump Junction (Public Gardens) towards BJR Statue will be halted and redirected towards Nampally. Vehicles coming from Basheerbagh to AR Petrol Pump will be moved towards SBI Abids and Nampally station road at BJR Statue.
Traffic from Sujatha School lane heading to Khan Lateef Khan building will be blocked and diverted towards Nampally at Sujatha School junction.
Hyderabad Traffic Police flagged potential congestion around VV Statue, Khairatabad flyover, Ambedkar Statue, Telugu Thalli, Iqbal Minar, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad Traffic Police Junction, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue Circle, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, AR Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Himayath Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market, and Hyderguda between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.
RTC buses operating from Ravindra Bharathi to BJR Statue have been instructed to avoid LB Stadium’s main gate near Khan Lateef Khan Building and take a diversion at AR Petrol Pump towards Nampally.

Residents were urged to cooperate and take alternate routes to minimise inconvenience during the scheduled events.
