TPCC chief Mahesh Kumar Goud pays tribute to PV Narasimha Rao on birth anniversary
Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president and MLC Mahesh Kumar Goud on Saturday paid tributes to Bharat Ratna awardee and former Prime Minister PV Narasimha Rao on his birth anniversary.
Mahesh Kumar Goud described PV as more than just a politician, calling him a distinguished scholar, polyglot, poet, author, journalist, and translator with profound knowledge. He said PV Narasimha Rao embodied simplicity and true statesmanship.
The TPCC chief noted that Rao’s contributions to the nation and the Congress Party were unforgettable, and his legacy should serve as inspiration for future generations.
He credited PV with laying the foundation for India’s current march toward a $5 trillion economy through landmark economic reforms. Goud further highlighted PV’s innovative steps in the education sector, including the establishment of Navodaya Vidyalayas, which created opportunities for quality education for lakhs of students.
