Three youths held for ganja peddling near Sheripally in Gajwel mandal

Hyderabad: Police arrested three youths near Sheripally village in Gajwel mandal on Friday for allegedly peddling and consuming ganja. The accused were identified as Golanukonda Ravi (21) and Golanukonda Chintu (24) from Sheripally, and Ennelli Mallesh (20) from Gouraram.

According to Gajwel Rural CI Raviraj, Gouraram SI and his team conducted raids based on a tip-off about ongoing ganja sales in the area. The suspects had reportedly procured the substance from a man named Shravan in Hyderabad and were selling and consuming it locally.

Ganja peddling Sheripally case leads to drug seizure

During the raid, police seized 25 grams of ganja, three mobile phones, and two motorcycles from the trio. They were later remanded.

CI Raviraj appealed to the public, especially youth, to avoid addictive substances and protect their futures. He urged people to report drug users to the police, assuring that proper counselling would be provided to those addicted.
