TGMFC schemes launch today at Nampally

Hyderabad: Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation will launch TGMFC schemes today at 11 am at Red Rose Palace, Nampally. Accordingly, the programme will cover economic support, asset distribution and skill training for minority beneficiaries.

Under the Economic Support Scheme, the corporation will distribute mopeds to members of Muslim Fakheer, Dudekula and other vulnerable Muslim minority communities. In addition, the support aims to strengthen their rehabilitation and livelihood.

Further, officials will issue 100 per cent subsidy cheques up to Rs 50,000 per beneficiary. The one-time grant will benefit minority women, including widows, divorcees, orphans, destitute and single women. Moreover, the assistance falls under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana Scheme.

TGMFC schemes focus on youth and livelihood

As part of the ongoing initiatives, the corporation will also distribute e-scooters to minority youth. The unit cost is up to Rs 1.50 lakh. While TGMFC will provide 80 per cent subsidy, beneficiaries will contribute the remaining 20 per cent.

Additionally, officials will distribute tool kits and generators to members of the Turka Kasha Muslim minority community. The unit cost is up to Rs 60,000 as a one-time grant.

Under the Training, Employment and Placement Programme, TGMFC schemes will launch skill development training for minority youth for the financial year 2025-26. Furthermore, the corporation will distribute sewing machines to minority women under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Shakti scheme.

The programme is scheduled to commence at 11 am in Hyderabad.
