Hyderabad: The Telangana government has reopened registrations for two minority welfare schemes. One scheme offers a one-time ₹50,000 grant to minority women. The other provides mopeds to eligible members of Muslim Fakheer, Dudekula, and other vulnerable Muslim communities for livelihood support, the Telangana State Minorities Finance Corporation said.
Officials reopened the schemes after receiving a large number of requests from eligible applicants. Many beneficiaries could not apply during the earlier window. Therefore, the government decided to allow fresh registrations to ensure a wider reach.
Under the Indiramma Minority Mahila Yojana, the government will give ₹50,000 as a one-time financial grant. The scheme will cover 5,000 minority women. Beneficiaries include widows, orphans, destitute women, single women, and divorcees. Officials said the assistance aims to strengthen financial independence among vulnerable women.

Meanwhile, the Rehabilitation of Muslim Fakheer / Dudekula / Vulnerable Muslim Communities scheme focuses on livelihood support. Under this programme, eligible beneficiaries will receive mopeds. The government expects the initiative to improve mobility and income opportunities.
Due to heavy demand, the corporation reopened the TGOBMMS portal. The portal will remain open from January 5 to January 10, 2026. Therefore, officials urged eligible candidates to apply without delay.
Eligible minority women and applicants from Muslim Fakheer, Dudekula, and other vulnerable communities can submit applications online through the TGOBMMS portal. Officials said timely submission will help applicants avoid last-minute issues.
