Tent city at Saraswati Pushkaralu draws attention with premium stay options

Hyderabad: The tent city at Pushkar Nagar has become a key attraction during Saraswati Pushkaralu. Built on a two-acre site with a cost of ₹1 crore, the facility provides accommodation for pilgrims attending the holy dip.

Inspired by the Kumbh Mela model, the tourism department has set up this temporary lodging area. Each room is equipped with air conditioning and arranged to accommodate two people. The rental per room has been fixed at ₹3,000 per day.

Alongside, a food court and dining hall have been arranged. A dormitory hall with 200 beds is also available nearby. The charge for one bed in the dormitory is ₹500 per day.

To book a room in the tent city, devotees can use the ‘Saraswati Pushkaralu–2025’ app released by the state endowments department or visit the website https://yatradham.org. Alternatively, bookings can also be made by calling 94849 50056.
