Hyderabad: The Telangana Rising Global Summit opened on Monday at Future City with a grand launch aimed at showcasing the state on a global stage. Delegates from more than 44 countries attended the event, while police ensured strong security across the venue. The two-day summit drew several national and international leaders. During the first day, experts held discussions on 12 themes linked to technology shifts and plans.
The Telangana Vision Document 2047 will be unveiled on Tuesday. The state government treated the summit as a major initiative and arranged modern facilities for guests. Nearly 2,000 participants reached the venue, and officials coordinated support services throughout the day. Additionally, Telangana cuisine formed part of the formal reception.
Summit events highlight scale, presentations and the CM’s address
The government released a special video on the Future City model, and a song on Telangana’s progress also drew attention. Many guests expressed satisfaction with the arrangements. Governor Vishnu Dev Varma inaugurated the summit, while the Chief Minister unveiled the digital statue of Telangana Thalli. Union Minister Kishan Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka attended, along with actor Nagarjuna and several industry leaders.
Speakers praised the government’s efforts to bring global firms onto a single platform and noted the state’s clear economic vision. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said Guangdong in China inspired the state’s approach. He added that Telangana identified Cure, Pure and Rare as its development zones.
Moreover, he pointed to China, Japan, Germany, South Korea and Singapore as role models. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that the state could reach a 30-trillion-dollar economy by 2047.
