CM Revanth unveils Telangana Thalli statues across districts

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy unveiled Telangana Thalli statues installed at collectorate premises across all districts on Tuesday. He launched the statues virtually from the Telangana Rising Global Summit venue at Bharat Future City. Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, several Ministers and senior officials joined him at the event. The Chief Minister said the statewide inauguration at the summit platform marked an important moment for Telangana, and he extended greetings to global delegates attending the programme.

Revanth Reddy addressed the public during the ceremony. He said the government drew inspiration from Telangana Thalli while working to meet the hopes of Dalits, Adivasis, Girijans, minorities and all sections. He added that the administration aimed to push welfare and development with strong resolve. According to him, the inauguration symbolised that commitment and the broader purpose behind the government’s decisions.

CM recalls December 9 announcement as foundation of Statehood

The Chief Minister noted that December 9 held special significance for Telangana. He recalled that UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and then Prime Minister Manmohan Singh began the process for separate Telangana on December 9, 2009. He said the decision honoured the long-standing wish of four crore people and restored their sense of identity. Because of that, the State now observes the day as Telangana Thalli Avatarana Day.

Revanth Reddy said last year’s unveiling at the Secretariat created inspiration across the State. This year, he added, the government extended that spirit to every district collectorate. He said Telangana has now stood firm as a strong State and continues to grow in welfare and development. He emphasised that Statehood, once a dream, has now become a reality reflected in progress across all districts.
