Telangana transfers 10 IAS officers, appoints new SCCL CMD

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has transferred ten IAS officers in a major administrative reshuffle. Jyoti Buddha Prakash will now serve as the new Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL).

The government relieved D. Krishna Bhaskar of the post, which he held under Full Additional Charge. Authorities issued official orders confirming the change on Wednesday.

Sabyasachi Ghosh, who currently heads the Flagship Welfare Schemes Implementation Unit, has taken over as Officer on Special Duty (FAC) for both the Special Chief Secretary of the Scheduled Caste Development Department and the Commissioner for Scheduled Caste Development. These duties were previously handled by Prakash.

In addition, Ghosh will retain his FAC roles with the Tribal Welfare Department and the Commissioner of Tribal Welfare.

Meanwhile, Sandeep Kumar Sultania, Principal Secretary in the Finance Department, has taken on new FAC duties. He will serve as Principal Secretary of the Planning Department and Executive Officer for both Telangana Tourism and the Remote Sensing Applications Centre (TGRAC).

D. Divya, the current CEO of the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty (SERP), has been reassigned as FAC Commissioner for Panchayati Raj and Rural Development. She replaces Shruti Ojha in that position.

Additional reshuffles include new nodal, secretary, and managing director roles

P. Katyayani Devi, Additional CEO of SERP, will now serve as the State Nodal Officer for Prajavani. She replaces Divya and continues as FAC Joint Managing Director of the State Finance Corporation.

Mayank Mittal, Executive Director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB), has been promoted to Joint Managing Director within the same agency.

U. Raghuram Sharma, who earlier served as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister for IT, Industries, and Legislative Affairs, has been appointed Special Secretary to the Government in the Industries and Commerce Department. He will also continue as Officer on Special Duty (FAC) to the Minister.
