Hyderabad: The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Telangana SPDCL lineman T. Nagender in Nagarkurnool district on Tuesday for taking a ₹15,000 bribe to install a transformer.
ACB officials caught him in Machinenupally village of Vangoor mandal, where a farmer had sought his help for setting up a transformer for agricultural use. Nagender allegedly demanded money to process the request.
The farmer then approached the ACB, which quickly laid a trap and arrested Nagender while he accepted the bribe.
