Hyderabad: The 16th edition of the NAREDCO Telangana Property Show 2026 concluded on 1 November at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. The three-day exhibition brought together developers, financial institutions, allied industry stakeholders and homebuyers. Union Minister of Coal and Mines Gangapuram Kishan Reddy attended the valedictory ceremony as Chief Guest, along with other dignitaries. Reddy is also the Member of Parliament for Secunderabad.
The show drew 75 developers and builders, five financial institutions and 10 allied industry participants. Visitors could explore apartments, villas, plotted developments and commercial properties across a range of locations and budgets. Over three days, the show displayed more than 500 projects for homebuyers and investors.
The event also offered insights into changing buyer preferences and market trends. Developers and industry stakeholders saw interest across several property segments. The interactions and enquiries recorded at the show reflected the varied needs of today’s homebuyers and investors. They also underlined the continued importance of direct engagement between consumers and the industry.
Reddy said India ranked in the top 30 in the global real estate transparency index 2026. He added that India is the most improved market in the Asia Pacific region. Investors are showing growing confidence in the country, he said. Real estate already contributes 7% of India’s GDP, and he said it is projected to reach 13% by 2030.
Reddy said a good home should be within the reach of every family. He urged all stakeholders to see real estate not as a business of land, buildings and transactions, but as a business of people and aspirations.
Developers seek GST relief and revised RERA orders
Sreedhar Reddy Koppula, President of NAREDCO Telangana, called real estate the most wealth-generating industry in the country. He said material prices have gone up, and developers bear the brunt of the increase. Commercial and rental properties still attract 18% GST, he added. He urged the Ministry to remove these charges so the industry can realise its 2047 vision.
Koppula said the Government has taken steps to aid construction, including RERA extensions and target guarantees. He said these steps are not enough. He asked the Government to revise the orders so that developers get enough time to build and projects do not stop midway. Small adjustments, he said, can help the industry keep growing and adding wealth to the nation.
As the 16th edition ends, the show offers insights into consumer preferences, market sentiment and emerging opportunities across segments. The strong engagement throughout the event reinforces the importance of collaboration and informed decision-making in shaping the future of Telangana’s real estate sector.
