Telangana prepares for Praja Palana Day on September 17

Hyderabad: The Telangana government has directed officials to make elaborate arrangements for Praja Palana Day on September 17. Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao issued these instructions during a high-level review meeting held at the Secretariat on Tuesday.

Senior officials, including Special Chief Secretary (Home) Ravi Gupta, DGP Dr. Jitender, Industries Special Chief Secretary Sanjay Kumar, Hyderabad Police Commissioner C.V. Anand, Additional DGP (Intelligence) Shivadhar Reddy, Energy Department Principal Secretary Naveen Mittal, and GAD Secretary Raghunandan Rao, were present at the meeting.

Praja Palana Day to begin with CM tribute at Gun Park

Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao stated that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will pay floral tributes at the Amaraveerula Stupam in Gun Park on the morning of September 17. He will then attend the main Praja Palana Day event at Public Gardens.

Officials have been instructed to illuminate all major government offices, statues, and tourist sites in Hyderabad with decorative lighting. Arrangements must be completed at the Public Gardens for the official gathering. Invitations should be delivered to all elected representatives and VVIPs.

These preparations aim to mark the occasion with public participation and a sense of ceremonial dignity.
