Telangana police crack robbery case in four days, arrest three

Hyderabad: Telangana police solved a robbery case within four days, arresting three suspects involved in multiple crimes committed in Narsapur town on October 7. District Superintendent of Police Mahender shared the details of the operation.

Victims assaulted, robbed in two incidents on same day

According to police, the accused first threatened a man riding a scooter and stole ₹350 in cash and his wallet. Later the same day, they picked up two shepherds in a car, assaulted them, and forced them to transfer ₹8,400 via PhonePe.

The suspects were identified as Neelagiri Dasharath of Narsing village, Bornoti Agamayya of Lingampalli village in Regode mandal, and Krishna of Korampalli village in Tekmal mandal. They had rented a Maruti Swift car to carry out the robberies.

Accused held, vehicle and phones recovered

Using technical surveillance, the police traced the trio to Alwyn Colony in Jagadgirigutta and detained them. They recovered the Swift car used in the crime along with three stolen mobile phones.

SP Mahender praised the team for their swift action. He commended Toopran DSP Narender Goud, CI John Reddy, SI Ranjith Kumar, and constables Srikanth, Upender, and Bagayya for their role in cracking the case.
