Hyderabad: Telangana leaders expressed deep grief over the bus accident near Chinna Tekuru in Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh. The Friday mishap claimed many lives and left several passengers injured.
Health Minister Damodar Raja Narasimha said the reports of multiple deaths deeply disturbed him. He extended condolences to the bereaved families. Moreover, he wished the injured passengers a full and speedy recovery.
Telangana BJP president Ramchander Rao called the Hyderabad–Bengaluru private bus fire “a shocking tragedy.” He prayed for peace to the souls of the victims and urged the government to support the families. In addition, he asked officials to provide the best medical care to the injured.
Furthermore, Rao demanded strict action against negligent private travel firms. He said the government must enforce firm safety regulations to prevent similar accidents in the future.
BRS leader and former minister T. Harish Rao also conveyed sorrow over the tragedy. He said the deaths of so many passengers had caused deep pain. He offered condolences and wished the injured a quick recovery. Above all, he prayed for strength for the families to bear their loss.
