Hyderabad: The Telangana government has set up a 15-member committee to plan the Telangana Television Awards 2024. The panel will design the event’s rules, format, and logo.
Producer Sharrath Marar will head the committee, while the MD of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation will serve as convener. The panel includes senior television professionals such as K. Baipneedu, Manjula Naidu, and P. Kiran.

The committee’s role is to create a transparent and inclusive system for selecting winners across various categories. It aims to ensure quality and fairness throughout the process.
Cinematography Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy said Telangana is becoming a centre for film and television excellence. “These awards will honour innovation and celebrate local talent,” he said. “They also show our commitment to supporting the industry.”
Officials added that the awards will highlight storytelling, technical skill, and performance. They are expected to inspire creators and raise industry benchmarks.
