Cyber security stressed under Telangana German collaboration

Sridhar Babu explained that cyber security is a key focus for Telangana. A Cyber Centre of Excellence has already been established, and ongoing research supports long-term goals in the field.

A senior police officer leads the state’s cyber security cell, which operates from two floors within the Integrated Command and Control Centre. He added that cyber units have also been formed at the district level.

Thanks to AI-powered tools, Telangana has seen a steady decline in economic crimes. These systems help the state detect and prevent phishing and financial fraud with greater accuracy.
