Telangana ready to support film industry with studios, training: CM Revanth

Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Tuesday said the government will support the film industry with infrastructure, studio space, and targeted skill training.

He made the remarks during a panel titled “Creative Century – The Future of the Entertainment Industry” on day two of the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025. Film industry leaders from across India joined the session and later met the Chief Minister for detailed discussions.

Studio support, script-based incentives planned

Revanth Reddy assured filmmakers that the State will provide full logistical assistance if they arrive with a finished script. The goal, he said, is to help producers complete and release their films without hurdles. He added that new film policies will reflect this approach.

The Chief Minister also asked officials to explore customised film training at the Young India Skills University in Bharat Future City. The programme will focus on the 24 crafts of filmmaking to meet real-world industry demand.

Film stars, producers engage directly with Telangana leadership

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Film Development Corporation Chairman Dil Raju joined the discussions.

Film icons who participated included Chiranjeevi, Riteish Deshmukh, Genelia Deshmukh, Chunky Pandey, and Amala Akkineni. Directors Subhash Ghai, Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Zoya Akhtar, and producers Allu Aravind and Suresh Babu were also present.

The event marked a major outreach effort by the Telangana government to position the State as a hub for the Indian entertainment industry.
