Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Thursday directed officials to implement Hybrid Annuity Model (HAM) road projects across Telangana in a phased and time-bound manner. He said every Assembly constituency should receive adequate representation in the project rollout.
Bhatti held a high-level review at the Secretariat with Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy. The meeting focused on planning and accelerating the execution of HAM road works across the state.
Traffic survey data to guide project selection
Bhatti stressed the need to finalize road works based on traffic survey data to ensure priority is given to high-need areas. He said careful planning would ensure equitable development and efficient resource allocation.
Minister Komatireddy Venkata Reddy instructed officials to immediately initiate the tendering process for phase one of the HAM projects.
Senior officials attend road infrastructure review
Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj, Finance Secretary Haritha, and senior engineers from the Roads & Buildings Department participated in the meeting. The ministers emphasized the state government’s commitment to expanding road infrastructure through public-private partnership models.
