HYDERABAD: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is set for a complete organisational overhaul, with the party’s structure being reconstituted from the village to the district level. This development was outlined during a key meeting of state observers held at Gandhi Bhavan.
Telangana Congress president Mahesh Kumar Goud, who presided over the meeting, affirmed that the revamp is aimed at strengthening the party’s grassroots framework. AICC in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan has issued clear directives for this restructuring process.
The TPCC has laid out a three-phase plan for observers:
– Task 1: District-level meetings will be conducted from 25 to 30 April. These meetings are to include block and mandal presidents. Additionally, MPs, MLAs, MLCs, former candidates, AICC and PCC office-bearers, and senior district leaders are to be invited.
– Task 2: Assembly and block-level meetings will follow.
– Task 3: Mandal-level meetings will be conducted in the final phase.

Mahesh Kumar Goud noted that initiatives such as Jai Bhim, Jai Bapu, Jai Samvidhan have seen widespread success across Telangana, with coordinators performing their responsibilities effectively. Senior AICC leaders have expressed appreciation for the programme’s outreach.
Addressing the observers, Mahesh Kumar Goud stressed that the responsibility entrusted to them is critical. “You must carry out this task with sincerity and integrity,” he said, emphasising that a strong organisational structure is essential for party consolidation.
