Telangana best in women policing, says Miss World contestant Opal Suchata

Hyderabad: Miss World contestant from Thailand, Opal Suchata Suangsri, has heaped praise on Telangana’s women policing, calling it “the best.” Speaking to the media at Shamshabad airport before flying back to Thailand on Wednesday night, Opal described her experience in Hyderabad as unforgettable.

Opal, who visited Hyderabad last month as part of the Miss World contest activities, said she was overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality she received throughout her stay. She recalled how, from the moment she landed in the city until her departure, Telangana made her feel completely safe and welcomed.

Sharing her experience, she said, “During my visits across the city, I mostly saw women police officers everywhere. They were there for us around the clock, making sure we didn’t face any trouble at any point.” She especially praised Telangana’s women police force for not only providing safety but also instilling confidence and courage among women.

Drawing a comparison with her home country, Opal remarked that in Thailand, it is rare to even spot women police officers. She praised Telangana for setting an example by empowering women in policing and creating a secure environment for visitors and residents alike.
