Hyderabad: Former minister and Sanathnagar MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav joined the Khairatabad Ganesh procession on Friday as the Panchamukha Sankatahara Maha Ganapati moved towards Hussain Sagar for immersion.
He joined the procession near the Telangana Thalli flyover and travelled on the vehicle carrying the idol. Talasani congratulated the festival committee members for organising the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations.
He also wished that Lord Ganesh’s blessings would remain with everyone. The MLA has been monitoring Ganesh processions at several locations across Hyderabad.
Talasani Srinivas Yadav reviews immersion arrangements
During his tour, Talasani travelled from Tank Bund towards Mozamjahi Market, Begum Bazaar, Madina and Charminar. He monitored the progress of the processions along these routes.
He spoke with police officials and gathered details about arrangements for transporting the idols. The MLA also reviewed how the processions were progressing at different locations.
Talasani called for peaceful festival celebrations irrespective of caste or religion. He wished for people to live with happiness and prosperity with Lord Ganesh’s blessings.
The Sanathnagar MLA continued his monitoring of procession routes and immersion arrangements across the city.
