Talasani demands unconditional release of BRS leader Balraj Yadav

Hyderabad: Former minister and BRS deputy floor leader Talasani Srinivas Yadav demanded the immediate and unconditional release of party leader Doodimetla Balraj Yadav. He described the arrest as illegal and alleged that authorities acted against Balraj for questioning personal allegations by ruling party leaders.

Talasani said political criticism and counter-criticism formed part of democratic practice. He questioned whether challenging and rejecting baseless allegations could amount to a crime.
