T. Annapurna assumes charge as DCP (Admin) Cyberabad

Hyderabad: T. Annapurna, IPS, assumed charge on Monday as Deputy Commissioner of Police (Admin), Cyberabad. Notably, T. Annapurna assumes charge after a distinguished record of service. A 2007-batch direct Deputy Superintendent of Police conferred IPS in 2013, she brings extensive experience in law enforcement and administrative functions.

After taking charge, she met Cyberabad Commissioner of Police M. Ramesh, IPS, in a courtesy call following the official event where T. Annapurna assumes charge.

Veteran officer with diverse policing experience

Before her current posting, Annapurna served as SP, Vigilance and Enforcement, and also held charge as In-charge DIG of Police. Her career spans key assignments including SP Vikarabad, ADSP Karimnagar, PTC Warangal, DSP postings in Mangalagiri and Guntur, and ADCP Chittoor. In each new responsibility, T. Annapurna assumes charge with dedication and expertise.

She has handled critical roles in law and order management, training, and administrative operations, strengthening her credentials for the current assignment. Moreover, this appointment marks another instance where T. Annapurna assumes charge of a key law enforcement position.

Speaking on the occasion, Annapurna said her focus would be on enhancing administrative efficiency and ensuring transparent functioning. She pledged to uphold professionalism and accountability in her role, while extending robust support to operational policing in Cyberabad.
