BRS MLC Sravan targets government with cryptic ‘illusion of democracy’ tweet

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dr. Dasoju Sravan Kumar posted a pointed and cryptic message on social media on Thursday, calling the current state of governance a “Grand Illusion of Democracy.”

In his tweet, Sravan wrote:
“Puppetry, Illusion & Deception. Salutes… an unparalleled maestro in the fine art of managing and maneuvering individuals, events, institutions, and even the Constitution itself. Truly, hats off to such spectacular governance and sensational diplomacy.”

The comment comes amid rising political tensions over local body elections, BC reservation issues, and governance decisions. Sravan’s remarks reflect the BRS’s ongoing criticism of what it sees as political manipulation and overreach by the ruling party.
