Hyderabad: Bharat Rashtra Samithi MLC Sravan Dasoju issued sharp Sravan Dasoju Revanth Reddy criticism on Thursday, accusing the Chief Minister of political arrogance for projecting Rahul Gandhi as a Prime Ministerial candidate.
In a statement, Dasoju criticised Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy for remarks suggesting that Rahul Gandhi should become the country’s Prime Minister.
He described the comments as political hubris and alleged that the Chief Minister was attempting to portray himself as a kingmaker in national politics.
According to Dasoju, the Sravan Dasoju Revanth Reddy criticism centred on what he called self-promotion by the state leader.
He said the attempt to project influence over the selection of the Prime Minister appeared politically unrealistic and undermined the seriousness of national politics.
Dasoju further alleged that such statements reflected what he described as arrogance driven by ill-gotten wealth.

The BRS leader also referred to the political journey of Rahul Gandhi while responding to the Chief Minister’s remarks.
He said Gandhi’s leadership had evolved through years of public engagement and political struggle across the country.
Dasoju cited the Bharat Jodo Yatra as an example of that engagement.
According to him, such a political trajectory did not require validation from regional leaders seeking publicity.
The Sravan Dasoju Revanth Reddy criticism also accused the Chief Minister of attempting to create a misleading political narrative.
Dasoju alleged that the remarks suggested Rahul Gandhi was reluctant to assume leadership.
He described that portrayal as a deliberate political framing designed to elevate the Chief Minister’s own image.
He also urged the Congress leadership to take note of such statements.
Dasoju warned that repeated political theatrics of this nature could affect the national stature of the Congress party.
