Sravan accuses Revanth of faction politics, TDP links in open letter

Hyderabad: BRS MLC Dasoju Sravan on Monday accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of indulging in factional politics and using abusive language, calling his recent remarks “reckless” and comparing his tone to that of a gang leader.

In an open letter, Sravan alleged that Revanth Reddy’s comments during a recent public meeting were not only undemocratic but amounted to a criminal conspiracy aimed at spreading unrest.

Revanth aligning with TDP, undermining Congress leaders: Sravan

Sravan claimed that although Revanth holds power under the Congress banner, he continues to promote the interests of TDP leader N. Chandrababu Naidu. He accused the Chief Minister of using Telangana as a platform to push a covert TDP-BJP agenda.

The BRS leader further alleged that Revanth is undermining senior Congress leaders such as Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, N. Uttam Kumar Reddy, and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy to consolidate personal control over the party.

He also criticised the Chief Minister’s lofty promises about a Future City and a ₹5 trillion state economy, saying they contrast sharply with his failure to stabilise the current economy or deliver pending benefits to retired employees.

“A leader who can’t create wealth is busy crafting illusions,” Sravan remarked, urging Revanth to abandon his “arrogant” style before it leads to political downfall.
