Sonia Gandhi lauds CM Revanth Reddy’s Telangana Vision 2047 plan

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy met senior Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in New Delhi on Tuesday and presented her with a copy of the Telangana Rising Vision 2047 document. The meeting reflected the party’s focus on long-term development planning and welfare governance in Telangana.

Revanth Reddy briefed Sonia Gandhi on the successful conduct of the Telangana Rising Global Summit 2025, held on December 8 and 9 at Future City. He outlined the vision behind the summit and shared updates on various welfare schemes introduced since his government assumed office in December 2023.

Vision document, welfare progress draw praise

During the discussion, the Chief Minister explained how the initiatives align with the broader goals of the Telangana Vision 2047 roadmap. He also detailed the government’s progress over the past two years in implementing people-centric development programmes.

Sonia Gandhi expressed appreciation for the state government’s performance and endorsed the forward-looking approach outlined in the vision document. She said she was hopeful that under Revanth Reddy’s leadership, Telangana would continue to progress and meet the developmental goals set for 2047.
