Pillion rider Seethakka reviews Medaram Jatara preparations

Hyderabad: Minister Seethakka personally inspected the Medaram Jatara preparations in Mulugu district on Sunday, riding pillion on a motorcycle to assess the ground-level arrangements ahead of the major tribal festival.

Accompanied by Mulugu Superintendent of Police Shabarish, she toured the Medaram area by bike to examine road conditions and identify possible traffic issues. With lakhs of devotees expected to attend, she stressed the importance of planning alternate routes to reduce congestion.

Seethakka instructed the police to set up special emergency routes and ensure that VIP movements do not disrupt the flow of devotees. She also directed officials to maintain coordination across departments for seamless implementation of the comprehensive Jatara plan.

She emphasised the need to keep all vehicle movements, parking, and emergency access areas free from obstructions. Riding on the SP’s bike, the Minister closely reviewed arrangements for the upcoming Maha Jatara.
