Telangana Municipal Elections process concludes statewide

After officials declared the results and completed the election of governing bodies, the Commission withdrew the Model Code with immediate effect. Since January 27, authorities had enforced the code in all 116 municipalities and seven corporations.

During this period, departments stopped announcing new schemes and halted transfers and official publicity. Now that the Telangana Municipal Elections have concluded, departments will resume pending development works and administrative decisions. In addition, they will restart transfer procedures and clear pending files.
