Three killed in Sangareddy road accident while travelling to Hyderabad airport

Hyderabad: A Sangareddy road accident claimed the lives of a couple and their four-year-old daughter after their vehicle crashed on National Highway 161 near Bachupally in Kallher mandal of Sangareddy district.

The accident occurred early Tuesday morning when the family was travelling from Nanded to Hyderabad. They were reportedly heading to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Shamshabad, to receive relatives returning from the Haj pilgrimage.

Sangareddy road accident leaves five injured

Police said the Scorpio SUV lost control, veered off the road and rammed into a divider. As a result, three members of the family from Maharashtra died on the spot.

Five other occupants of the vehicle suffered serious injuries. Meanwhile, emergency responders shifted them to a hospital for treatment.

Sangareddy road accident under investigation

After receiving information from local residents, police reached the accident site and began rescue operations. They shifted the bodies to the Sangareddy District Government Hospital for post-mortem examination.

Police registered a case and started an investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
