Hyderabad, January 13: A tragic road accident marred festive celebrations in Peddapalli district on Sunday. A car collided with a stationary DCM van near the Indira Gandhi Junction at Godavarikhani, leading to the death of one person and severe injuries to four others.
According to initial reports, the car crashed into the parked van at the bend near the junction. Among the injured, the condition of a child is reported to be critical. Local residents promptly rushed the injured to the hospital and alerted the police about the incident.
Police officials arrived at the scene, registered a case, and initiated an investigation. Further details are awaited as authorities continue their inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the accident.
