HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Monday led the state’s official delegation to the Osaka Expo in Japan, becoming the first Chief Minister from Telangana to visit Japan or take part in the prestigious global event.
Accompanied by Minister for Industries and IT, D. Sridhar Babu, the Chief Minister inaugurated the Telangana zone within the Bharat Pavilion, formally launching the state’s presence at the Expo. The two leaders were the first to enter the pavilion, symbolically initiating India’s participation and setting the tone for Telangana’s showcase on the world stage.
This visit also marks a significant milestone as Telangana becomes the first Indian state to establish its own dedicated space at the Osaka Expo. Under the leadership of Revanth Reddy, the state will highlight its business potential, rich cultural heritage, artistic traditions, and tourism appeal to a global audience.
The participation is aimed at attracting international interest and investment, positioning Telangana as a progressive and dynamic state ready to engage with global partners. The five-yearly Expo provides a key platform for states and nations to present development opportunities and foster global cooperation.
