HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy paid homage to former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Damodaram Sanjivayya on his birth anniversary on Friday. The tribute ceremony took place at his residence in Jubilee Hills, where the CM offered floral respects to Sanjivayya’s portrait.
Several political leaders and dignitaries attended the event. CM’s advisor Vem Narender Reddy, Corporation Chairmen Patel Ramesh Reddy and Manala Mohan Reddy, along with MLAs Rajender Reddy and Kumbham Anil Kumar Reddy, were present.
Education Commission member Charagonda Venkatesh, former MLA Sampath Kumar, and other prominent figures participated in the event, commemorating Sanjivayya’s contributions.
Sanjivayya, the first Dalit Chief Minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh, is remembered for his role in social reforms and governance.
