Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Friday expressed deep sorrow over the death of renowned environmentalist and Padma Shri awardee Saalumarada Thimmakka. He said her lifelong commitment to tree planting and environmental protection will remain unforgettable.
In a condolence message, Revanth Reddy praised Thimmakka’s tireless efforts in planting thousands of trees, describing her as a selfless figure who became a symbol of inspiration for environmental conservation across the country.
