Revanth Reddy reaches Delhi to attend Congress Working Committee meet

Hyderabad: Revanth Reddy reached Delhi to attend the Congress Working Committee meeting scheduled later in the day.

The CWC meeting will take place at the newly built AICC headquarters, Indira Bhavan. It will begin at 10.30 am.

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge will chair the meeting. Senior leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi will also attend.

Party sources said the CWC will review the current political situation across the country. Leaders will also discuss upcoming elections and party strategy.

The agenda will also include discussions on the proposed renaming of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act. Leaders are expected to share views on organisational strengthening.

Meanwhile, political circles in Telangana continue to speculate about a cabinet expansion after January 1. In this context, Revanth Reddy’s Delhi visit has gained added importance.

Sources said the Chief Minister may hold separate meetings with senior Congress leaders. These talks could focus on Telangana-related political and organisational matters.
