Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy appeared before the Special Court for Public Representatives in Nampally on Saturday, in connection with three cases registered against him in 2016. The FIRs relate to incidents at Osmania University, Tirumalagiri, and Mattampally police stations.
The cases include allegations of conducting a public meeting at Osmania University without permission, along with other alleged violations. CM Reddy filed petitions seeking quashing of all three cases, describing them as politically motivated.

The Chief Minister argued that the cases stemmed from targeted action during his political activism and no longer serve any legal or public interest. He appeared before the court as required and submitted his plea for relief.
The court has completed hearings in all three matters, and the petitions are now under judicial consideration. A ruling is expected soon.
