Republic Day celebrations held at HYDRAA office

Hyderabad: Republic Day celebrations were held with ceremonial solemnity at the HYDRAA office on Monday, where Additional Director Varla Papayya unfurled the national flag and underscored the role of the Constitution in sustaining Indian democracy.

After the flag hoisting, Papayya said India secured freedom and emerged as a democratic nation through constitutional discipline. According to him, citizens enjoy liberty today because the Constitution sets clear rules and safeguards. Therefore, he said democracy loses direction without constitutional checks.

Emphasising civic duty, he urged citizens to understand their responsibilities. He also advised people to read the Constitution to uphold democratic values in daily life.
