HYDERABAD: Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister Ponnam Prabhakar convened at Mahatma Jyothi Bapule Praja Bhavan to review the forthcoming launch of the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme. The meeting was attended by SC Corporation Chairman Preetham, ST Corporation Chairman Bellaiah Nayak, and Minority Corporation Chairman Obedulla Kotwal. Discussions centered on the scheme’s guidelines, which aim to provide self-employment loans to unemployed youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities.
The government plans to accept applications and select eligible beneficiaries for this initiative. The application process is set to commence ceremoniously tomorrow, with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka, BC Welfare Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, and other ministers participating in the inauguration.
Under the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam Scheme, the government has decided to sanction subsidized loans totaling ₹6,000 crore to approximately 500,000 youth. Welfare corporations have issued notifications for application submissions, which will be accepted from March 17 to April 5. This initiative aims to empower youth from SC, ST, BC, and minority communities by facilitating self-employment opportunities.
