Rachakonda CP reviews security ahead of global summit in Kandukur

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Commissioner of Police Sudheer Babu conducted a high-level review on Thursday of the security arrangements for the upcoming Global Summit at Future City in Kandukur mandal, Rangareddy district.

Rachakonda global summit security includes full-force coordination

The CP, accompanied by Additional DGP (Fire Services) Vikram Singh Mann and IAS officer Shashank, visited the venue to assess readiness. They reviewed fire safety measures and discussed emergency response actions with department heads.

He directed all officials to work with complete coordination and ensure foolproof security. Since Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is overseeing the summit, Sudheer Babu stressed the need for joint efforts by law and order, traffic, Special Branch, Intelligence, OCTOPUS, Greyhounds, Dog Squads, and Bomb Disposal teams.

1,000 CCTVs and massive deployment for delegate safety

Authorities expect over 600 delegates, including business leaders from global investment groups, top multinational firms, and Indian industry giants. VVIPs will have a three-tier security ring.

To enhance surveillance, police will set up more than 1,000 CCTV cameras throughout the area. These will connect directly to a central control room for live monitoring.

In addition, about 1,000 traffic personnel will manage route diversions, barricades, and parking arrangements. Dedicated marshals will assist to ensure traffic flows smoothly. Organisers urged the public to prepare for traffic diversions along select routes during the two-day event.

Infrastructure for forces and logistics in final stage

The Commissioner also examined facilities for security staff, including barracks, kitchens, toilets, and mess services. He asked officials to complete all necessary arrangements in advance to avoid last-minute issues.
