Hyderabad: Director General of Prisons Soumya Mishra refuted reports claiming that a blast conspiracy was planned during a recent mulakat at Chanchalguda jail and termed them baseless.
She clarified that news suggesting a terror plot inside the jail was completely false. According to her, certain media channels and social media platforms circulated unverified information, which caused unnecessary panic among the public.
The DG urged people not to believe such rumours and asked media outlets to exercise restraint. She stressed that no credible intelligence inputs indicated any conspiracy inside the prison.
