Hyderabad: President Droupadi Murmu hosted an ‘At Home’ reception at the Rashtrapati Nilayam in Bollaram, Secunderabad, as part of her annual winter visit.
Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, and several senior leaders attended the traditional tea reception. The President organised the programme in line with the custom followed during her winter stay in Hyderabad.
The President visits Hyderabad every year as part of the winter retreat. During the visit, she hosts the ‘At Home’ programme for senior officials, political leaders and prominent personalities.

President Murmu toured Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from December 17 to 21. During this period, she took part in several inaugurations and foundation-laying ceremonies.
As part of her official engagements, she presented the ‘President’s Colours’ to the College of Defence Management in Secunderabad. The ‘At Home’ reception marked the final event of her winter visit.
Telangana Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, ministers, MPs, MLAs and MLCs attended the programme.
The reception reflected the ceremonial significance of the President’s annual winter visit to Hyderabad.
