Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar visited the Social Welfare Gurukul School in Jillellagadda village of Husnabad mandal, Siddipet district, on Wednesday to review the case of student Vivek’s suspicious death earlier this month. The student had reportedly died on October 7 under mysterious circumstances.
During his visit, Ponnam interacted with teachers and sought detailed information about the incident. He said the preliminary inquiry suggested that Vivek had died accidentally while playing with his classmates about ten days ago. However, he added that the inquiry would continue to examine all possible angles.
Minister assures support to the student’s family
Ponnam described the incident as unfortunate and said the government would extend all necessary support to Vivek’s family. He appealed to everyone not to politicise the student’s death.
