Hyderabad: Minister Ponnam Prabhakar said the government sanctioned 3,500 Indiramma houses for each constituency to fulfil the housing dream of the low-income families.
He attended the house-warming ceremony of beneficiary Lavanya, wife of Gull Lingaiah, at Thotapalli in Husnabad mandal of Siddipet district on Friday. The minister said the first phase of Indiramma housing works is progressing quickly.
Indiramma housing scheme reaches Siddipet families
Prabhakar noted that many houses are already complete and families are moving in. He said the Praja Palana government is offering ₹5 lakh financial aid for each unit. Moreover, he urged all beneficiaries to fully use the scheme.
The minister reminded citizens that the government also provides 200 units of free power. In addition, he said fine rice is being supplied at subsidised rates. He asked people to take advantage of other welfare benefits as well.
District Collector Haimavati, Additional Collector Garima Agarwal, RDO Rammurthy, Library Corporation Chairman Lingamurthy, Husnabad Market Committee Chairman Tirupati Reddy, Vice Chairman Banka Chandu and several local leaders joined the programme. Large groups of residents also attended the ceremony.
