Officials review Jubilee Hills bye-election counting arrangements

Hyderabad: Officials prioritised the final stage of preparations for the Jubilee Hills bye-election as District Election Officer and GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan conducted a detailed review of the counting arrangements at the Kotla Vijayabhaskar Reddy Indoor Stadium in Yousufguda. He carried out the inspection with Election Observer Ranjith Kumar Singh and examined the setup planned for the 61–Jubilee Hills Assembly Constituency counting process scheduled for 14 November 2025. Their visit focused on ensuring that the arrangements met all requirements for a smooth, transparent, and secure counting day.

The officials checked the layout of the counting centre and assessed the readiness of each facility prepared for the exercise. They moved through the stadium to verify that every step of the process aligned with the prescribed counting schedule. They also reviewed the flow planned for the counting teams to avoid delays during the ballot handling stage.

Their inspection highlighted the emphasis placed on transparency and security. Both officers monitored the measures intended to maintain order throughout the process. They confirmed that the arrangements supported a lawful and uninterrupted counting session for the bye-election held earlier in the week.
