Hyderabad: Nirmal district secured two SKOCH Awards, drawing praise from State Prohibition and Excise and Tourism Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for the performance of officials.
The Nirmal SKOCH Awards recognised the district’s administrative efforts and innovative initiatives. As a result, officials received appreciation for maintaining consistent performance across sectors.
Jupally Krishna Rao said such awards reflected the dedication and hard work of government staff. He also encouraged officials to continue delivering with the same commitment.
Nirmal SKOCH Awards recognise innovative district initiatives
Following the recognition, District Collector Abhilasha Abhinav met the Minister in Hyderabad along with Khanapur MLA Vedma Bojju Patel. The meeting took place as a courtesy after the awards announcement.
The Minister said winning two SKOCH Awards in separate categories marked a significant achievement. He noted that such recognition brought pride to the district administration.
He commended the implementation of programmes such as Ponikivanam and Amma Rakshita. Moreover, he said these initiatives gained attention for their impact and innovation.
In response, Collector Abhilasha Abhinav thanked Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Minister Jupally Krishna Rao for their support. She also acknowledged the guidance of Minister Seethakka and Damodar Rajanarasimha in executing district initiatives.
She said continued support from the leadership enabled the district to carry out innovative programmes effectively.
