Naveen Yadav oath ceremony follows decisive Congress performance
The by-poll results, announced on November 14, gave Naveen Yadav a strong mandate. He led in every round except the first. Moreover, he secured major gains in areas that usually favour the BRS. Congress workers celebrated the victory across Jubilee Hills as the BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha finished second and the BJP lost its deposit.
After the win, Naveen Yadav hoisted the Congress flag at the Jubilee Hills ground to mark the party’s sweep in the constituency.
