Hyderabad: Telangana’s Nalgonda district recorded the highest disbursement under the ongoing Rythu Bharosa scheme, with ₹592.55 crore credited to the bank accounts of 4,97,280 farmers, District Collector Ela Tripathi said on Saturday.
She said the funds are being released in phases, directly into farmers’ accounts, to support agricultural operations.
Tripathi urged beneficiaries to use the assistance strictly for farming needs, including seeds, fertilisers, tools, and other essentials.
