Hyderabad: Three people were killed on the spot. Three others sustained critical injuries in a Miryalaguda road accident that occurred on Friday morning near Edulaguda in Miryalaguda town of Nalgonda district.
According to preliminary information, a tanker and a DCM commercial vehicle collided head-on at high speed. This led to the instantaneous death of three occupants. The impact of the collision was severe, leaving both vehicles badly damaged at the accident site.
The injured victims were shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment. Hospital sources said their condition remained critical, and doctors were making efforts to stabilise them.

Officials said initial assessment suggested excessive speed as a possible cause of the crash. However, a detailed investigation was underway to establish the exact circumstances. Traffic movement on the stretch was disrupted for some time following the accident. It was later restored.
Police reached the spot soon after receiving information and shifted the bodies for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered, and further inquiries are being conducted to determine responsibility for the accident.
