Medaram Jatara arrangements win praise from devotees

Hyderabad: Devotees praised the Medaram Jatara arrangements made by the government and district administration during the ongoing Sammakka–Saralamma Maha Jatara.

Many devotees said they completed darshan in less time despite heavy footfall. They noted that officials ensured smooth movement in queue lines and prevented stampede-like situations.

Devotees said police personnel and volunteers continuously guided pilgrims. As a result, Darshan proceeded without long delays even during peak hours.

Compared to previous Jatara events, devotees said this year’s Medaram Jatara arrangements showed clear improvement. They added that officials managed crowds in an orderly manner.

Medaram Jatara arrangements ease traffic and improve pilgrim facilities

Devotees also welcomed road improvements leading to Medaram. They said wider and better roads helped vehicles move smoothly and reduced traffic congestion.

Clear signboards from the parking areas to the Gaddelu ensured pilgrims did not lose their way. Devotees said the route guidance made movement easier for older pilgrims and families.

Despite the large influx of devotees, they said authorities effectively managed drinking water supply, sanitation, and safety measures. They added that regular cleaning improved overall hygiene at the jatara site.

Devotees also expressed satisfaction with medical arrangements. They said medical staff and ambulances remained available and responded quickly during emergencies.

Overall, devotees said the Medaram Jatara arrangements focused on pilgrim comfort and safety. They added that the jatara continued peacefully in a devotional atmosphere.
